Dermaplaning is a method of exfoliation that consists of using a scalpel to gently scrape off the top layer of dulling dead skin cells in order to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion. It also removes vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the skin providing a smoother surface for applying make up. Fine lines and wrinkles are diminished and skin is left healthy, more radiant and perfectly prepped to absorb products more effectively.

How long is does the Dermaplaning treatment take?

Depending on a number of factors: hair growth, skin type, area to be treated. The full face will take 45 to 55 minutes.

How often should I have Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning removes 3 weeks’ worth of dead skin cells, so it’s best to allow the skin to complete its rejuvenation cycle before your next treatment. 6 weeks is recommended.

Who should administer the Dermaplaning treatment?

Dermaplaning should only be administered by an experienced, qualified therapist. Accreditations and certificates are available on request.

Are there any risks or side effects?

Very few will experience any irritation or reaction.

Short-term side effects may include:
