We are passionate about beauty and skin care and have a real interest in helping people feel great about themselves
Having worked in the industry and other leading salons and clinics, Suzanne decided to open her own beauty salon and skin clinic, Manor Beauty in 1998.
Manor Beauty was rebranded to Skin Elements in 2024. Announcement can be found on our blog here Exciting news: Manor Beauty is Evolving
Skin Elements incorporates a specialist skin clinic, spa treatment rooms, nail bar and walk-in retail section.
Skin Elements specialises in treatments for men and women of all skin tones and types. Our therapists have trained with renowned dermatologists to ensure that you receive only the highest quality of service and advice. We have carefully researched and selected what we believe to be the most effective and professional skincare and nail products available.
We pride ourselves on our extremely high standard of professionalism in a friendly, calming and welcoming atmosphere.
Skin Elements is located in Chigwell, Essex, just a short distance from central London and within easy reach of Loughton, Buckhurst Hill, Woodford, Barkingside, Ilford, Romford, Hainault, Chingford and Wanstead.
Our History
1997
Having worked at several leading beauty salons and clinics, Suzanne decided to start and manage her own mobile beauty business.
1998
With loads of passion to build her dream, Suzanne opens Manor Beauty, located at 157a Manor Road. Incorporating just a single treatment room and two nail stations.
2000
Elemis skincare introduced.
2001
Moved to larger premises just a few doors along – the current address, 163 Manor Road. Now with two treatment rooms, three nail stations and a retail section.
manorbeauty.co.uk registered and our first website is launched.
2005
2010
Dermalogica introduced.
CND Shellac introduced.
Ria joins the team as a Beauty Therapist.
2012
Suzanne and her husband Mark have a daughter, starting a family.
A new logo was designed and incorporate a butterfly for the first time.
2013
Suzanne and her husband Mark have a Son.
Manor Beauty app for Apple and Android released.
Redesign and fit-out of the front reception area.
2015
Time to grow and expand again! Planning and building begin on a new dedicated spa area to the rear of Manor Beauty.
Winner of the Phorest Client Satisfaction Award 2015, the first of many.
2016
Magdalena joins the team as our new Manager.
The new spa area opens adding four new themed treatment rooms. Manor Beauty now incorporates six treatment rooms and three nail stations.
Epionce introduced.
2017
Purchase of the new Alma Lasers Soprano ICE Platinum.
2018
2019
Elemis Biotec is introduced.
Dermalux LED is introduced.
Jade joins the team as a Beauty Therapist.
Habiba joins the team as an Aesthetician.
2020 – 2021
LOCKDOWN! Well, the less said about that the better. But we made it through, keeping our amazing team together and our wonderful clients returned.
2021
Ria re-joins the team after starting a little family and is now our lash and brow specialist.
New website! The one you are reading now 🙂
2022
Albana joins the team as our Manager.
Hydrafacial is introduced.
Alma Lasers Soprano Titanium is introduced.
2023
Charlotte joins the team as Receptionist.
Louise joins the team as a Beauty Therapist.
25 years of Manor Beauty and time to celebrate!
2024
Lalitha joins the team as a Beauty Therapist.
Mary joins the team as a Beauty Therapist.
